1.         GENERAL SPANISH PROGRAMS

SPANISH WITHOUT HOMESTAY (PROGRAMS I AND II)

SPANISH AND HOMESTAY (PROGRAMS III AND IV)

The programs start every Monday all year round. The programs II and IV take place from Monday through Thursday so as to give our students the opportunity to have more extended weekends during which they can visit our national parks, volcanoes, beaches and other attractions. The homestay extends for 7 days from Sunday before the course starts.

The programs I and II (without homestay) do not include homestay nor the airport pick-up.

These programs include:

• Airport pick-up and transfer to the host family or apartment
• Housing with a Costa Rican family including 2 meals per day (breakfast and dinner or breakfast and lunch) and laundry service from the Sunday before the course starts till the Saturday of the last week of the course
•  Spanish instruction in small group classes with an average of 3-4 students (max. 6) from Monday through Thursday or Friday
• Orientation session, welcoming to Costa Rica
• Placement test, personal interview
• Teaching material
• Maps of Costa Rica and tourist information
• Graduation and certificate of attendance
•  Cultural activities
• Free Use of our computers with Internet connection
• Wireless internet access in all our facilities

• Spanish Classes without homestay: If you are not interested in the homestay, deduct $133 per week.
• Additional days of homestay : You may arrive in Costa Rica and start or end the homestay on any day of the week that you wish. $19 each, $133 per week.
• Individual Classes for all levels: $20 per hour
• Transfer from the host family or apartment to the airport:$25
• Assignment fee for voluntary work or internships: $1501We recommend to participate in a Spanish course but it is not obligatory. However, the Spanish level should be intermediate–high for assignments of internships

2.     SPANISH FOR MATURE ADULTS (50+)

– Learning Vacation Program  –

(Small group classes Monday through Thursday)

Our Mature Adult Learning Vacation Program includes:

• Airport pick-up and transfer to the host family or apartment in San José
• 3 hours of Spanish instruction per day in small groups (3-4 students) Monday through Thursday from 9.00 till 12.00 noon or 1.00 p.m. till 4.00 p.m.
• Housing with a Costa Rican family (private room and private bath) vor with an apartment accommodation starts on the Sunday before the beginning of the course and ends on the Saturday of the last week of the course
• Weekend trips (Tortuguero national park, Jaco Beach, Manuel Antonio national park & beaches, volcano Arenal & hot springs). In case of less than four weeks, you can select the excursions of your preference
• 2 visits, cultural activities or excursions in the afternoons/evenings per week
• All text books
• Orientation session, welcoming you to Costa Rica
• Placement test and personal interview
•  Maps of Costa Rica and tourist information
• Certificate of attendance
• Use of in-house computers
• Free Wifi throughout our facilities

3.     SPANISH online

Online Spanish instruction is available at all levels, from beginner to advanced. We also offer specialized Spanish courses for people working in health, business, law, education and others.$20 / hour

4.     ACCOMODATION

You can choose between two options : 

• Homestay

 Our host families are located in the same suburb of San Jose where our school has its site, so they are within walking distance or a simple bus ride. Homestay programs include private room, house keys, two meals per day, airport pick-up and transfer to the host family as well as laundry services. The program includes homestay on Sunday before the beginning of the Spanish course until the Saturday of the last week.

• Apartments

We offer two apartment options:

1.   Budget   Apartments

We offer shared apartments which are located 2 blocks from our site, 3 bed rooms, 1 bathroom, tv, wifi connection, fully equipped kitchenette, washing machine and parking.Sharing apartments (private room) :

$28 / night ; $160 / week ; $500 / monthSharing apartments (double room) : $20 /night per person ; $120 / week per person ; $400 / month per person

2.     Standard Apartments

These apartments are 15 minutes walking distance from our site and furnished with fully equipped kitchenette, cable tv, large private bathroom with shower, safety boxes, self-service laundry, wireless internet connection and parking. The breakfast is included and computers with internet connection.
