Hi, dear friends of the IECR blog,I like to inform you that on May 8, the Expo 2010 Shanghai Chinahas been launched. At the moment it is considered to be the largest world exhibition in history. This exhibition shows the transformation of China on the world scene. The theme of the exhibition is “Better City – Better Life”.250 countries and organizations are participating. More than 70 millions of visitors are expected. Costa Rica is exhibited as peace-loving and in search of harmony with nature and as country with a high potential of development of industry of high technology. In its pavilion Costa Rica offers an artificial pond where part of the country´s nature can be appreciated as well as typical Costa Rican food with varied tasting of typical plates.Costa Rica also presents three sculpture pieces of the Costa Rican sculptor Jorge Jimenez Deredia.We invite the visitors of the Expo 2010 to visit the Costa Rican pavilion!The exposition is open for six months till October 31, 2010.
